What kinds of scores are reported on the GRE, and how long will it take for me to get my scores?
You'll receive three scores:
- A verbal score ranging from 200 to 800 in 10-point increments
- A quantitative score ranging from 200 to 800 in 10-point increments
- An analytical writing score ranging from 0 to 6 in half-point increments
Your official score report for verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing scores will be sent to you and the institutions you designate within 10 to 15 days of taking the test. If you choose to hand write your essays, it may take up to six weeks to report your verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing scores.
