Summary and Analysis Book 5: Sir Tristram De Lyones: The Tournament at Lonezep

 

Tristram, Palomydes, Gareth, and their followers decide to joust against King Arthur's side, since they can win more honor by overcoming Arthur's knights than by supporting them. Palomydes fights better than ever before because Isode is watching. On the second day, warned by Dynadin and Gareth of Palomydes' envy, Tristram prevents Palomydes from winning more honor.
